On November 2nd, 2017 we held the first Systems Engineering Roundtable in Zürich (SERZ) at our offices. We had a lively discussion on “Product Line Engineering” and addressed questions such as

  • product type vs. product instance
  • systems of systems
  • challenges due to different life cycle stages of the system’s components
  • benefits of product line engineering
  • stepwise instantiation of a product line towards a digital twin

The next Systems Engineering Roundtable in Zürich will take place on February 1st, 2018 where we will discuss “The Value of Systems Engineering“. If you are interested, please register here – participation is free. Next time, the Swiss Society of Systems Engineering (SSSE) will sponsor free pizza!
